Your appointment - please read
In preparation for a treatment please:

Make sure that your horse is in from the field and is as dry and clean (as possible!) ​

Give them a hay net beforehand so that they are not hungry and therefore less apt to fidget.

Use some fly spray if it is a hot day and the flies are bad.

If appropriate to do so, bring a field buddy in to keep them company so they feel happier and less stressed.

Please note:

If your horse is not used to being stabled then it is acceptable to do the massage session outside in a safe place.​

For the initial visit and most likely subsequent visits, I will require the owner or another capable adult to lead the horse at the walk and trot. It may not be necessary for the horse to be held for the duration of the treatment.

IMPORTANT:

Please be honest about your horse's nature/temperament/willingness to be touched. This should be discussed in the initial phone call.
Please note that I will always do my best to treat a horse as best I can with as little risk involved as possible by continuously monitoring the horse's subtle or not so subtle cues and reactions. However, if a situation becomes dangerous I may need to stop a treatment session and the full cost of treatment will still be due.

Cancellation Policy

Life happens and sometimes unforeseen circumstances such as illness/accidents/transport issues etc. can prevent us from being able to keep to arrangements made.
​
I will always aim to be with you on the day you booked and at the correct time. However, if I cannot make the appointment for whatever reason, or if I am running behind schedule then I will make it my utmost priority to inform you of this change of date/time.
​
I kindly request that you do the same, and let me know if you need to rearrange your appointment as soon as possible.

Cancellation with more than 48 hours notice - no fee due.
​
Cancellation less than 48 hours notice - half the treatment fee due.
​
Cancellation less than 24 hours notice - full treatment fee due.
